Veteran Yoruba actor, Ojo Arowosafe, also known as Fadeyi Oloro has died. He died recently after a protracted battle with kidney-related disease.
Fadeyi Oloro rose to prominence in the 80s with the supernova Yoruba movie, “Arelu.” He died at a private hospital a few days after famous On Air Personality, Daddy Freeze, made a public fund appeal to save him.
In a live video session posted on Instagram, Daddy Freeze, and Fadeyi Oloro were seen in a conversation with the actor begging Nigerians to help him to recover from the illness.

After the appeal, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, a Nigerian pastor based in the United Kingdom, promised to donate the sum of N3m to help with his medical bills.
In another Instagram Live, Daddy Freeze confirmed that Pastor Tobi had fulfilled his promise and sent N3m for Fadeyi’s treatment and other outstanding bills.
