A recent report on median rent prices in Canada reveals that Vancouver still remains the most expensive city in the country.
There has been a 0.4 percent rise month-to-month in one-bedroom rentals in Vancouver, up to $2,480 in January, while two-bedroom rentals stood at $3,500.
The study examined 23 cities across Canada. Overall, 10 cities encountered growing rent prices in January, seven cities experienced a reduction while six remained flat.
Edmonton had the biggest price increase for one-bedroom rentals at five percent from December up to $1,050, while St. Catharines, Ontario witnessed the largest month-to-month decline, dropping 6.2 percent to $1,510.
