Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has stated that the club would not allow Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi to leave during the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old midfielder has been linked with potential moves to Monaco and Atletico Madrid, as both clubs are reportedly interested in a loan deal that includes an option to buy.

Ndidi is currently making great recovery from his hamstring injury, and has not played since December.
While speaking with the BBC, Van Nistelrooy emphasized the importance of Ndidi to the team as a player and a person.
When asked about the possible exit of the Nigeria international, Nistelrooy said: “No, of course not!”
He added: “Wilfred is a key player and person in the squad and in the club, and I’m glad he is nearly there to help the team again.
“We know how much we’ve missed him, and we know we need him. Wilf is key in the coming months, a key part of this team that can get us out of this situation.”
Ndidi, who joined Leicester City from Genk in January 2017, has recorded three assists in 15 league appearances for his this season.
Leicester City are currently 19th in the Premier League, having won one match in nine league matches, losing seven and drawing one.
