United Kingdom has sent a group of structural and civil engineers to Turkey to help in investigating the havoc caused by the devastating earthquakes.
The main objective of the team is to collect geological data and carry out meticulous assessments to determine the reasons why numerous buildings collapsed.
The team comprises industry experts and esteemed academics, and the Earthquake Engineering Field Investigation Team (EEFIT) is carrying out the research.
Their findings will be added to the research conducted by Turkish teams and other structural engineers to facilitate preparedness for future earthquakes.
