Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu, recently met with former President Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Though the purpose of the meeting remains unclear, it may be connected with the mission of Jonathan in Mali, where he serves as the Head of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Mediation Team.
The visit happens to be Jonathan’s second to the State House in the last month.
During his last visit on June 13, he briefed the president on his mission to the troubled West African country.
Tinubu also met with Governors Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, and Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.
