Nigeria’s U-20 team, Flying Eagles, has been knocked out of the U-20 FIFA World Cup after a 1-0 defeat to South Korea.
The Ladan Bosso boys were played in the quarter-finals with the hope of qualifying for the semi-finals, but the journey ended in the final minutes.
After a goalless 90 minutes, Choi Seok-Hyun scored a 94th-minute header in extra-time from a corner which made South Korea to progress to the semifinals.

The Flying Eagles started their campaign with a win over Dominican Republic and defeated Italy in their second group game before losing to Brazil on matchday three.
The team later recorded a shock 2-0 win against Argentina in the round of 16 to book a place in the last eight, where they were eventually eliminated by South Korea.
