No fewer than six buildings have been evacuated after a water main break in Queen Street West and Strachan Avenue, Toronto left the road flooded.
According to information, the water poured into the basements of buildings in the area and a TTC bus has been brought to the area to give temporary shelter to residents displaced as a result of the incident.

Const. Shannon Eames, Toronto Police Service spokesperson, said they cannot say the exact number of residents that were displaced.
According to Police, the south side of Queen Street West will be closed overnight between Strachan Avenue and Gore Vale Avenue to carry out repairs.
