Shola Agboola, a top Canadian Politician and member of the Conservative Party of Canada’s Leadership Election Organizing Committee (LEOC), recently gave a speech and welcome address as the Candidate of Record for SBSV during a collaborative fundraising dinner between his riding, St Boniface-St Vital, and Winnipeg South.
During the dinner, Mp Leslyn Lewis, the Guest Speaker, also delivered a speech. She urged Canadians to rise up and do their part for a better nation.
While talking about the event, Agboola said: “Earlier this week, my riding – St.Boniface-St Vital had a successful collaborative fundraising dinner with Winnipeg South with a sold-out crowd. As the Candidate of Record for SBSV, I was thrilled and humbled to provide a remark and welcome greeting at the event to a big crowd of enthusiastic Conservatives.

“We were all so moved and motivated by the speech delivered by our eloquent guest speaker, MP Leslyn Lewis making a clarion call for citizens to rise up and do their part for a better nation. She talked about the great ideals of the Canadian nation that make Canada the beacon of hope around the world – civil liberties, quality of life, economic and religious freedom, compassion, equity, diversity and inclusion. She cautioned citizens not to take them for granted but to take action to protect these values and not be eroded. What a powerful speech it was.
“Thanks to Cheryl Kirschman and Ken Muys and other volunteers for making the event a success. Thanks also to all our elected officials both at federal and provincial levels and former members of parliament that were present. It was a great and successful event.”
