According to reports, hundreds of Professors at the Université Laval campus in Quebec have gone on strike in a bid to protest against their workload.
The striking Professors were seen with their family members marching, requesting a decrease in workload, greater protection for vulnerable employees, improved compensation, and the addition of 100 positions.

The strike happened after the professors voted 94.5% in support of an indefinite general strike the previous week.
Recently, the management made an offer to the Syndicat des professeurs et professeures de l’Université Laval, the union which represents the Professors, in an effort to resolve the labor dispute.
