The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has revealed that God has not talked to him as to whether there will be any election in Nigeria next year.
The highly respected cleric made this known recently in Redemption Camp while ministering at the November edition of the church’s monthly program tagged, “Holy Ghost Service.”
While addressing his congregation, the General Overseer lamented the state of the country and said he did not intend to scare anyone but God has not told him if the 2023 general elections would hold.
He said: “I have not been told anything about next year’s election by God.”
He talked about the prophecies that are yet to happen and added that he’s a pastor and not a prophet that he prayed for anybody who comes to him for prayers and that it is God who decides what happens after he prays.
He said: “My duty is to pray. I pray for anyone who comes to me for prayers. It is left for God to decide what happens.”
While sharing sermons on the theme of the event, “Let It Rain”, he read from 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 and urged Christians to always remain prayerful and charged them to pray to God to heal the land.
