Nollywood is exploiting new terrain, as The Wiccan Girl, a horror film produced by Nigerian-Canadian filmmakers, is set to hit cinemas.

‘The Wiccan Girl’ is a story of a young college student on a mission to search for her friend that is mysteriously trapped in a diabolical cabin. For this task, she encounters dire consequences for rescuing her.
The film is produced by a team of Nigerian-Canadian filmmakers and a larger part of it was shot in Canada. It features a predominantly black cast including Linda Osifo, Nosa Obaseki and Nafisat Abdullahi.
The producers of the film include Austin Odigie, who also doubles as the director; KC Muel Chinwuko; Ambrose Okundaye; Isoken Ibieorutomwen and Massia Houri.

While Nollywood’s Toka Mcbaror is the production designer, Confidence Nwogu and Adeniyi Adewole are the executive producers.
‘The Wiccan Girl’ will be released on streaming platforms soon.
