A Nigerian airline confused her passengers as it ‘mistakenly’ lands in Asaba airport instead of Abuja where the passengers booked.
An X user, @dawisu, criticized United Nigeria Airlines on X for a thoughtless move that wasted time for its customers.
The passenger revealed that because the pilot had been given the incorrect flight plan, the aircraft took off from Lagos State for Abuja but ended up landing in Asaba.
The passenger shared a photo of the passengers who were furious and made fun of the airline for may landing them in a different state just as the flight was taking off again.
He wrote: “Nigeria my country. We departed Lagos about an hour ago on @flyunitedng to Abuja, and upon arrival, the cabin crew confidently announced that we’ve arrived Abuja, only for us to realize that we landed in Asaba. Apparently, our pilot was given wrong flight plan from Lagos. We are departing Asaba now, I pray we don’t land in Osogbo next!”
