The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has suspended its five-day warning strike in Kaduna.
While disclosing the suspension to journalists in Abuja, the NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, said the decision to suspend the strike was to honour the invitation of Federal Government’s to intervene in the dispute.
According to Wabba, the meeting between the federal government and the organized labour would soon take place in Abuja.
The NLC embarked on the strike few days ago to protest the sack of several local government workers by the Kaduna State government.
The strike has stalled activities in critical sectors of the state.
