Boxing legend, Mike Tyson, wants to fight Anthony Joshua.
Tyson, the former undisputed heavyweight champion, will return to the ring in November for a controversial showdown with Jake Paul.
He got himself in top shape for his first foray into the ring since his fight with Roy Jones Jr in November 2020.
And the 57-year-old International Boxing Hall of Famer has grand plans to fight Anthony Joshua – probably in a charity bout.
Before the charity clash with Joshua can happen, Tyson must first see off YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul – who will be 31 years his junior on the night of the fight.
Meanwhile, Joshua, the former two-time unified heavyweight champion, has admitted he has concerns for Tyson’s health.
During a recent appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, the 34-year-old said, “He’s (Mike Tyson) older now.
“I pray that he comes out healthy. I think Jake Paul because of youth – that’s the only thing.”
The booking of Tyson vs Paul generated controversy in the boxing community, as fans publicly expressed their disgust at the latter.
Surprisingly, Joshua is a fan of Paul’s gimmick-driven fights.
He said: “I personally think it’s really good.
“I think the boxing hardcores, they don’t like it because they think, ‘Why are they disrespecting our sport?’
“But I think that person brings all these people into boxing which benefits everyone else. Everyone viewing helps.”
