Meghan Markle broke down in tears inside her Canadian home with Prince Harry in an intimate image shared in the couple’s Netflix documentary.
In the documentary, the 41-year-old Duchess of Sussex is seen looking overwhelmed, surrounded by clothes and a suitcase, while she was in the house her family called home when they stayed on Vancouver Island, Canada, in 2020.
Before Markle’s picture was shown, Harry said: “So this was like a week before COVID, and we would be stuck in this house, where everyone in the world knew where we were. No protection, no security.”
In the final episode, which was released recently, Tyler Perry, an actor, comedian and producer, is seen helping the couple as they left their lives behind in the United Kingdom.
Perry said: ‘They just wanted to be free. They wanted to be free to love and be happy. They didn’t… They didn’t have a plan. Everybody says, “Oh, there’s this…”
Perry, one of the couple’s closest allies, helped them relocate to the US and offered them his $18 million Beverly Hills home to use as their personal residence.
The first three episodes of Harry & Meghan, part of the Sussexes’ multi-million dollar deal with Netflix aired last week while the final three hour-long episodes started airing recently.
The Sussexes’ show which is part of their multi-million dollar deal with Netflix, has become Netflix’s most-watched documentary in a week of release with over 81.55 million hours watched.
