An Invictus Games organizer has disclosed that Meghan Markle can’t wait to visit Nigeria for her mum and the kids after she was cheering for the African team having found out her heritage.
Recall that Markle was excited to meet a Nigerian Invictus Games athlete in Germany while promoting the event recently.
Prince Harry disclosed at the opening ceremony that his wife would be supporting the athletes after discovering through a genealogy test that she is 43% Nigerian.

Meghan was seen hugging a competitor and describing her as “my Nigerian sister”, before she was introduced to further members of the team and the defence chief, who gave her the nickname Ngozi Lolo, a name she could use if she ever visits the country.
While talking to Hello!, Derek Cobbinah, who helped in co-ordinating Nigeria’s debut in this year’s competition, said the Duchess was ‘deeply touched’ by the nickname and that she is hoping to organize a family trip to Nigeria.
Cobbinah said: “She said she couldn’t wait to visit Nigeria for her mum and the kids.
“She’s always welcome to visit Nigeria and other African countries.’
The revelation of Meghan’s Nigerian heritage came during an episode of her Archetypes podcast after she carried out a genealogy test some years ago’.
She promised to ‘start to dig deeper into all this’ during her discussion with comedians Issa Rae and Ziwe Fumudoh.
