Jagmeet Singh, the leader of the New Democratic Party (NDP), has expressed his commitment to protecting democracy in Canada during a recent press conference which took place in Winnipeg.
When asked about what he thinks about the launch of a public inquiry into the suspected Chinese intervention in Canadian elections, Singh stressed the importance of protecting the democratic processes of Canada.

He said his major objective was to make sure that the integrity of Canadian elections remains intact and that any plan to undermine it must be thoroughly investigated.
Singh made these remarks at a time when there are growing concerns over foreign interference in Canadian politics and the need for tighter measures to protect Canada’s democratic institutions.
