Indigo Books & Music Inc. has revealed that they are encountering a “cybersecurity incident” that has affected customers’ orders in-store and online.
In a post on its website, the company said: “We are working with third-party experts to investigate and resolve the situation. Our hope is to have our systems back online as soon as possible.”
The Toronto-based retailer revealed it temporarily can’t process electronic payments, accept gift cards or deal with returns. Physical stores are limited to processing sales with only cash.
