Former governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao-Akala, has died. He died at the age of 71 in Ogbomoso.
Alao-Akala served as Oyo State governor between 2007 and 2011.
Also, he served as the Deputy Governor under Chief Rashidi Ladoja between 2003 and 2006. When Chief Ladoja was impeached, he became the acting governor for eleven months.
