The Pharaohs of Egypt beat Morocco in their quarterfinal clash at the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) hosted by Cameroon.
Morocco took the lead in the sixth minute but Liverpool forward, Mohammed Salah scored the equaliser in the 53rd minute. The match ended in a draw and went into extra time.
In the 100th minute, Salah set up Trézéguet who scored the winning goal.
Egypt are now into the semifinal of the tournament and will play Cameroon for a spot in the final billed for February 6.
