Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have announced that Antonio Conte has left Tottenham by “mutual consent” with the team struggling to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League.
The Italian became the club’s coach in November 2021 and ranted recently about the club before the international break after a 3-3 draw at Southampton.

His assistant, Cristian Stellini, will replace him until the end of the season.
Conte leaves Spurs in fourth position in the Premier League table with two points above fifth-placed Newcastle, who have two games in hand, in the race for Champions League qualification.
In a statement, Tottenham Chairman, Daniel Levy, said: “We have 10 Premier League games remaining and we have a fight on our hands for a Champions League place.
“We all need to pull together. Everyone has to step up to ensure the highest possible finish for our club and amazing, loyal supporters.”
Previously, Stellini stood in for Conte on the touchline this season when the 53-year-old was recovering from gallbladder surgery.
Ryan Mason, who was briefly interim boss in 2021, is expected to take over as assistant coach.
