Canada has relaxed the requirement for COVID-19 Testing for air travellers from China, Hong Kong, and Macao, effective March 17, 2023.
While announcing this, the Public Health Agency of Canada stated that the border measures for COVID-19 will be lifted and air travellers will no longer have to provide evidence of a COVID-19 test result before boarding.

The decision was made in response to a reduction in COVID-19 cases in these countries.
Meanwhile, the agency warned that if the situation worsens, testing may be reinstated.
Also, the agency urged every plane traveller to wear masks, and those with COVID-19 symptoms to stay home.
