Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers has praised Super Eagles Midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, and said he would like to keep him at Leicester City Football club for a long time .
While describing the sensational midfielder as an irreplaceable part of the team, Rodgers made it known he hopes the ever consistent player who has spent over 3 years at the club could stay and build something special at the club.
Ndidi has played above 150 games first the club, put up outstanding defensive performances and in this season has scored one goal and provided an assist.
During Liverpool’s loss to Leicester City last weekend, Ndidi was so dominating to the extent that emerging reports have linked him with transfer to Real Madrid, Manchester United , Tottenham and Arsenal.
Rodgers said he was aware that bigger clubs will come knocking for him in the summer.
He said: “He’s one of the top players in world football. His quality in his football is improving all the time. He is irreplaceable for us. He’s fantastic for a young player,” Rodgers said in a press conference on Wednesday, February 17.
“What is pleasing as a coach, is that he wants to learn. He will improve and get better. I’m so happy he plays in my team.”
