Baby Shark, the widely loved children’s rhyme produced by South Korean company, Pinkfong, has emerged as the most-watched video in the history of YouTube.
The song which has gone from the platform of children’s YouTube to a worldwide viral piece with an attractive and addictive melody garnished by a colourful video displaced Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito” as the highest-viewed video on YouTube with 7.04bn views recently.
As reported by BBC, Pinkfong might have earned about $5.2m (£4m) from YouTube streams only. Though it took Baby Shark four years to get to the top of YouTube’s most-watched video, the song is a lot older than that.
