The Nigerian national football team, the Super Eagles, has been placed in Group C of the 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
Group C consists of Nigeria, Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania. Notably, Tunisia eliminated Nigeria in the Round of 16 of the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.
The 2025 AFCON will kick off on December 21, 2025, with hosts Morocco facing Comoros in Rabat.
