Nigerian singer, Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, also known as Adekunle Gold, has taken to social media to express his frustrations about life and living in Nigeria.
In a recent post shared on his official X page, Adekunle Gold disclosed to his fans that there is something about the country that drains one’s excellence.
The singer also noted that striving for things here feels futile, as the environment pulls one down until one becomes just like everyone else.
Meanwhile, the musician, who was born into the royal family of Lagos State, Nigeria, encouraged his fans to protect their passion fiercely and not settle for less.
He wrote, “There’s just something about this place that drains your excellence. Striving for it here feels futile, as the environment pulls you down until you become just like everyone else. Whatever you do, guard your passion fiercely, be firm, and never settle for less.”
