Toronto Police have stated that a man who was injured in a shooting in North York in a recent ugly incident has died in hospital.
It was gathered that Police were called to the area of Weston Road and Highway 401 at approximately 5:51 p.m. on the day of the dastard incident for a report of a shooting.
According to the police, when officers arrived on scene, they located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Giving update on the development in a later news release, the police said that the man had died in hospital.
The Police disclosed the man’s identity to be Ariyo Fakomi, a 37-year-old Toronto resident. Records have it that he is the city’s first homicide victim of 2022.
As of the time of fling this report, no suspect information has been released.
Police are appealing for anyone who was driving on Weston Road between Highway 401 and Jane Street on the day of the incident between 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. and has dashcam footage to contact officers.
