The long awaited 3.92 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine has finally landed in Nigeria.
The vaccine was brought into the country by Emirates Airlines plane that landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja and was received by top government officials.
The arrival of the vaccine doses was witnessed by journalists who had long waited at the airport.
The Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 and a team of experts from National Primary Healthcare Development Agency will take delivery of the vaccines and follow the consignnent to the National Strategic Cold Store situated at Jabi district of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
