Police have asked for the assistance of the public after a 14-year-old girl reported a sexual assault in a Brampton park.
In a press release, Peel Regional Police said the teenager was strolling through Chinguacousy Park recently when she alleges a man followed her and later assaulted her sexually.
Investigators from the Special Victims Unit seek the public’s assistance to identify the man.
The suspect is described as a medium build Black male, about five-foot-nine inches tall, with a thin goatee.

He wore a white hoodie, white shorts, black flip-flops with grey socks, and he had a large ring on one of his fingers.
