PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has commended the efforts of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, to restore peace to the nation through its prayers for government.
Speaking through the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Okechukwu Enyinna Enelamah, at the October 2017 Holy Ghost Service/Annual Youth Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Worldwide, organized by the Young Adult and Youth Affairs of the Church under the theme, “Agent of transformation”, Buhari urged Christians not to relent in praying for the betterment of the country. He said: “We bring greetings from the Presidency and the entire people of Nigeria.
We want to assure you that what you are doing in the church by praying for the success of this administration matters to this nation and God Almighty will continue to answer our prayers”.
Speaking on the theme of the programme, the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, said Nigeria was confronting challenges but assured that there was light at the end of the tunnel if Nigerians persisted in the place of prayer.
